4th Stop: Teacher's Workshop

  On the 8th of March , a workshop for the teachers for the ten representative schools was held at Level 22, Quill 7 ,Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, KL Sentral. From 9 a.m to approximately 5 p.m. The motive of the meeting is to enlighten the teachers about the competition and briefed them about :


- the aim of this whole BPMyScience project 
- shared stories about future upcoming events
- shared the agenda of the 3 days 2 nights camp
- Our responsibilities as participants in camp
- Rules and regulations 


We were given some pocket money to sustain our compensation throughout this project

3rd Stop: The Interview

This year, BP requested for the form four students to represent their respective schools for the BP MyScience program. So our teachers En. Zul, En. Sukri and Pn. Chong had selected a few of us to be interviewed for the program whom consist of Jaswinderpal, Tanesh, Divya, Heymmah, Tharvin, Afiqa, Kiren, Tania, Gan Bowie, Goh Eugene, Shankar, Jasveerpal, Amir, and Goh Hui Er. The interview was held at the library in our Bilik Rujukan which was a more quiet place and more suitable for serious interviews. We were all briefed about the program and then given an empty piece of paper. We were asked:-

a) Why must the teachers choose us?

b) What are our attributions?

c) What can we contribute to the project?

d) Who are the four person that we can work with best?

And all of us handed our so called 'resume' to En. Zul approximately after 15 minutes of writing.

After about a week, we're all so nervous and excited to know who actually got chosen. And finally En. Zul and En. Sukri called five of us which were Tharvin, Afiqa, Jasveerpal, Amir, and Goh Hui Er. We are the 2011 BP Star Crew (thats what we named ourselves). And the teachers announced it and hoped that we can cop and do well in this project. Of course they have high expectations on us, and we shall not let them down. Here are the pretty faces of our crew!
